And in the spirit of cultural communion, Pinder’s Missionary Project explores the Mexican underground commuter scene by delving into music. Using Afro-American sounds as a representation of self; the multi-channeled video performance brings the viewer into these precious exchanges in the underbelly of Mexico City. Rhythms harmonize (and clash) as the artist hawks his culture for ten pesos on crowded trains.
